K-4th Grade Judaic Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a passionate Lower School Judaic Studies Assistant Teacher to work in a collaborative, warm, academic environment. Candidates should be energetic, creative and able to foster our students’ personal and academic growth. The assistant teacher will be responsible for assisting the teacher and students in all areas of the curriculum.
Candidate must possess fluent skills in speaking, writing, and reading in Hebrew.
Salary $35,000

Learning Specialist (Special Education) Grades 5-8 Leave Replacement (Sept 2026 - Dec 2026)

We are seeking a highly collaborative, experienced, and skilled Learning Specialist (special education teacher) to support students in grades 5-8. The Learning Specialist will create and implement innovative instructional experiences for students who have been identified as benefitting from academic support. Candidate will be a role model who can help foster our students’ personal and academic growth, implement a variety of instructional strategies, and who has familiarity with the latest educational models to enhance student learning for the 21st century. We are specifically seeking a teacher with an expertise in multi-sensory approaches to teaching reading and/or mathematics.
The ideal candidate:
- Has a Master’s level or high degree in Special Education, Math Education, Childhood or Adolescent Education, and or Literacy
- Has at least 3 years of experience as a classroom teacher, learning specialist/interventionist, and or special education teacher
- A deep understanding of effective literacy and mathematics instruction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of child development and how social emotional factors impact learning
- A belief that all children have ability to learn at high levels
- Preferred but not required: Hebrew/Judaic skills and/or specialization in Mathematics
The Learning Specialist will:
- Provide individualized and small group instruction in order for all students to have access to the grade level curriculum
- Serve as co-teacher in a variety of classes in grades 5-8 as determined necessary (changes year to year based on student need)
- Partner with classroom teachers to create plans of support for identified students
- Challenge students to become active independent learners and encourage each child's curiosity and creativity.
- Foster respect for others, a commitment to values, and tikkun olam (repairing the world)
- Maintain accurate and consistent records of evidence of students learning
- Communicate regularly with parents through conferences, email, and phone calls to discuss students' progress, sharing successes and working in partnership to enhance student development.
- Engage with the Director of Instruction and Learning and the Student Learning Team to continuously learn and grow as an educator
Pay Range $180-$220 per day commensurate with experience

Early Childhood Assistant “Floater” Teacher

We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Assistant "Floater" Teacher for the 2025-26 school year, to work in a collaborative, warm, academic environment. Candidates should be energetic, creative and able to foster our students’ personal and academic growth. The assistant teacher will be responsible for assisting the teacher and students in all areas of the curriculum. Hebrew language skills are a plus.
Salary range begins at $33,000-35,000 and commensurate with experience.
