Early Childhood Cut-Off Dates
Entering Kindergarten: Age 5 by October 1
Entering Pre-K: Age 4 by October 1
Entering Gan 3’s: Age 3 by October 1
Early Childhood Admissions Process (Gan 3's – Kindergarten)
Upon completion of application:
- Your child’s current teacher will be asked to fill in a detailed questionnaire and conduct a follow up conversation with the Schechter admissions team.
- All Early Childhood students are invited to join us for a group playdate by appointment only.
For All Grades 1- 8
Upon completion of application:
- Parents will be invited to attend an admissions meeting via Zoom.
- Your child’s current teacher will be asked to complete a detailed questionnaire and conduct a follow up conversation with the Schechter admissions team.
- Students entering grades 1-8 will be invited to spend a half-day in one of our classrooms and meet with at least one of our school administrators for an educational evaluation.
For All Applicants
- A member of our admissions committee may visit an applicant's current school to observe them in a familiar setting.
- Admissions decisions will be communicated on a rolling basis after a family has completed the entire admissions process.
